    Australian Student Visa (Subclass 500)

    The Student Visa (Subclass 500) allows international students to study full-time at a registered Australian education institution. It enables students to live in Australia for the duration of their course, work within permitted limits during study, and travel freely in and out of Australia while the visa remains valid. Eligible family members may also be included in the application.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    3. Be at least 6 years of age.
    4. Meet English language requirements (where applicable).
    5. Meet Australia’s health and character requirements.
    6. Demonstrate sufficient financial capacity to support their stay.
    7. Meet all applicable student visa requirements.

      1. Receive an offer from an Australian education provider.
      2. Obtain your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
      3. Arrange Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
      4. Gather the required supporting documents.
      5. Lodge your Student Visa (Subclass 500) application online.
      6. Complete health examinations and biometrics (if required).
      7. Await the Department of Home Affairs’ decision.
